The design is optimized to maximize car spaces and enhance circulation and ease of use. Aisle and ramp capacity, vehicle reservoir at entrance and at exit, entrance and exit layout, entry and exit controls, capacity of entry lanes will be opportunely sized on the base of the required bay turnover (short/medium/long stay).
For short-stay parking – where higher dynamic and turnover capacities are required – wider bays will be provided, for office environment and long-stay parking – where users are familiar with the parking procedures and turnover is a lot lower – narrower bays will be preferred.
